The Hello Neighbor Network Learning Collaborative

In 2022, the Hello Neighbor Network was proud to launch our Learning Collaborative program through the Mobilizing America for Refugees Fund. This fund was an investment of $1.3 Million in 60 organizations across 32 states working to support Afghans and Afghan resettlement in their local communities, developed in partnership with the Schultz Family Foundation, the Stand Together Foundation, the Starbucks Foundation, Welcome.US, and Hello Neighbor.

The Hello Neighbor Network Learning Collaborative was a 12 month program designed to support the work of these 60 grassroots organizations through monthly training sessions from industry experts, sharing of valuable and relevant nonprofit resources, and convening a supportive peer Network of grassroots organizations working towards similar goals.

In the fall of 2022, the Hello Neighbor Network collaborated with Cunning Folk Films to travel and showcase the work of three Learning Collaborative organizations working directly with Afghan refugees. Thanks to the Starbucks Foundation for highlighting the work of these incredible nonprofits: ECHO Collective,  Every Campus A Refuge, and the Muslim Association of Puget Sound.
