Network partners with the Harnisch Foundation to offer translation/interpretation Resilience Grants

<p><strong><em>Through the generous support of the </em></strong><a href="https://thehf.org/"><strong><em>Harnisch Foundation</em></strong></a><strong><em>, </em></strong><a href="https://www.helloneighbor.io/"><strong><em>Hello Neighbor</em></strong></a><strong><em> gifted $2,500 to five US-based nonprofits for immediate use in translation and/or interpretation. In keeping with the mission of Hello Neighbor and the Hello Neighbor Network, each of the receiving nonprofits works with refugee and immigrant populations.</em></strong></p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*BdbvoYPM2Vr7EXXbDG6eag.png" /></figure><p>This Resilience Grant focused on immediate needs and called for proposals that prioritized interpretation and/or translation within a short, couple-month period. These funds will be used to pay translators and interpreters, enabling linguistically-appropriate service and furthering the missions of recipient organizations.</p><p>The Network received photos and stories highlighting the impact of these grants.
